Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for September 2015 and for April through September 2015 are summarized below.
I. Production
Note 1): Overseas production figures are based on Mazda brand units coming off the production line (does not include CKD units), but include passenger vehicles produced for another brand at the plant in Mexico. Note 2): Global production figures are the sum total of domestic and overseas production volumes.
1. Domestic Production (1) September 2015 Mazda's domestic production volume in September 2015 increased 4.3% compared to September 2014 due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

(2) April through September 2015 Mazda's total domestic production volume in the period from April through September 2015 increased 2.3% year-on-year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

2. Overseas Production (1) September 2015 Mazda's overseas production volume in September 2015 increased 28.2% year-on-year, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

(2) April through September 2015 Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from April through September 2015 increased 46.1% year-on-year, due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

II. Domestic sales
(1) September 2015 Mazda's domestic sales volume in September 2015 increased 15.5% compared to September 2014 due to increased sales of passenger vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.7% (up 1.7 points year-on-year), with a 2.6% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.3 points year-on-year) and a 5.2% total market share (up 1.0 points year-on-year).

(2) April through September 2015 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April through September 2015 increased 32.9% year-on-year due to increased sales of passenger vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.8% (up 2.4 points year-on-year), with a 2.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 5.2% total market share (up 1.5 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
(1) September 2015 Mazda's export volume in September 2015 increased 10.0% compared to September 2014 due to increased shipments to North America, Europe, Oceania and other regions.
