Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for May 2015 are summarized below.
I. Production
Note: As of January 2007, overseas production figures are based on Mazda brand units coming off the production line (does not include CKD units).
1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in May 2015 decreased 9.8 % compared to May 2014 due to decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Mazda's overseas production volume in May 2015 increased 89.5% year-on-year due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in May 2015 increased 40.1% year-on-year, due to increased sales of passenger vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 8.0% (up 2.9 points year-on-year), with a 2.5% share of the micro mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 6.0% total market share (up 2.1 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
Mazda's export volume in May 2015 decreased 24.9% year-on-year, reflecting reduced shipments to North America, Europe, Oceania and other regions.
