Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for September 2014 and for April through September 2014 are summarized below.
I. Production
Note: As of January 2007, overseas production figures are based on Mazda brand units coming off the production line (does not include CKD units).
1. Domestic Production (1) September 2014 Mazda's total domestic production volume in September 2014 decreased 4.5% compared to September 2013 due to decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

(2) April through September 2014 Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April through September 2014 increased 0.7% year-on-year due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production (1) September 2014 Mazda's overseas production volume in September 2014 increased 60.8% year-on-year, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

(2) April through September 2014 Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from April through September 2014 increased 41.8% year-on-year, due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

II. Domestic sales
(1) September 2014 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in September 2014 decreased 7.0% year-on-year, due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.0% (down 0.1 points year-on-year), with a 2.9% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 4.2% total market share (down 0.2 points year-on-year).

(2) April through September 2014 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April through September 2014 decreased 18.2% year-on-year due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.4% (down 0.9% year-on-year), with a 2.5% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.3 points year-on-year) and a 3.7% total market share (down 0.6 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
(1) September 2014 Mazda's export volume in September 2014 decreased 7.2% year-on-year, reflecting decreased shipments to North America, Europe and others.
