Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for December 2013 and for January through December 2013 are summarized below.

1. Domestic Production

(1) December 2013

Mazda's total domestic production volume in December 2013 increased 5.0% compared to December 2012 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from January through December 2013 increased 14.3% compared to the same period in 2012, due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production

Mazda's total overseas production volume in December 2013 increased 27.8% compared to December 2012, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in December 2013 increased 30.3% compared to December 2012, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.8% (up 0.5 points year-on-year), with a 2.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 3.8% total market share (up 0.1 points year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from January through December 2013 increased 4.5% compared to the same period in 2012, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.2% (up 0.3 points year-on-year), with a 2.8% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 4.2% total market share (up 0.1 points year-on-year).
