1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in May 2013 increased 7.0% compared to May 2012 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Mazda's overseas production volume in May 2013 decreased 27.9% compared to May 2012, reflecting decreased production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in May 2013 increased 3.7% compared to May 2012 due to increased sales of passenger vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.9% (up 0.3 points year-on-year), with a 3.2% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.7 points year-on-year) and a 4.8% total market share (up 0.5 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
Mazda's export volume in May 2013 increased 9.6% year-on-year, reflecting increased shipments to Europe and other regions (Central & South America, Asia and the Middle East).
