Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective May 1, 2013.

1. Organizational Changes

Changes in the area of global sales and marketing
Aim

• To realize an organizational structure that recognizes the importance of regional mid-term planning and strategy as well as an integrated global sales and marketing plan.

Details of the organizational changes

• The function of supporting operations in North American markets is transferred from Market Operations Dept. No. 1 to the newly established American Market Operations Dept.
• The function of supporting operations in Central and South American markets is transferred from Market Operations Dept. No. 3 to the American Market Operations Dept.
• The function of supporting operations in European markets is transferred from Market Operations Dept. No. 1 to the newly established European Market Operations Dept.
• In line with the establishment of the American Market Operations Dept. and European Market Operations Dept., the Market Operations Dept. No. 1 is eliminated.
• Market Operation Dept. No. 2 is renamed ASEAN Market Operations Dept.
• Market Operation Dept. No. 3 is renamed Middle East/African Market Operations Dept.
