1. Domestic Production

Mazda's total domestic production volume in May 2012 increased 8.8% compared to May 2011 due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda2 (Demio):	10,105 units	(down 24.8% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production

Mazda's overseas production volume in May 2012 increased 51.0% compared to May 2011, reflecting increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in May 2012 increased 40.6% compared to May 2011, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.6% (down 0.4 points year-on-year), with a 2.5% share of the micro-mini segment (down 1.3 points year-on-year) and a 4.3% total market share (down 0.8 points year-on-year).
