1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in February 2012 remained the same as February 2011 (down 0.2% year-on-year) despite decreased production of commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Mazda's overseas production volume in February 2012 decreased 1.2% compared to February 2011, reflecting decreased production of commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in February 2012 increased 10.0% compared to February 2011, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.2% (down 1.1 points year-on-year), with a 2.8% share of the micro-mini segment (unchanged year-on-year) and a 3.7% total market share (down 0.7 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
Mazda's export volume in February 2012 decreased 11.3% year-on-year, reflecting reduced shipments to Europe and others.
