1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in August 2011 increased 5.6% compared to August 2010 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Mazda's overseas production volume in August 2011 decreased 20.6% compared to August 2010, reflecting decreased production of passenger vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in August 2011 decreased 40.8% compared to August 2010, due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.6% (down 1.8 points year-on-year), with a 3.1% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.5 points year-on-year) and a 4.7% total market share (down 1.5 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
