Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for June 2011 and for January through June 2011 are summarized below. I. Production

1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in June 2011 decreased 2.3% compared to June 2010 due to reduced production of passenger vehicles, reflecting the company's recovery from the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

(2) January through June 2011 Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from January through June 2011 decreased 20.3% year-on-year due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

2. Overseas Production Mazda's overseas production volume in June 2011 improved 1.2% year-on-year, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

(2) January through June 2011 Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from January through June 2011 increased 6.6% year-on-year, due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
(1) June 2011 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in June 2011 decreased 31.8% compared to June 2010 due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

III. Exports
