Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for June 2011 and for January through June 2011 are summarized below.

1. Domestic Production
(1) June 2011

Mazda's total domestic production volume in June 2011 decreased 2.3% compared to June 2010 due to reduced production of passenger vehicles, reflecting the company's recovery from the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from January through June 2011 decreased 20.3% year-on-year due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

2. Overseas Production
(1) June 2011

Mazda's overseas production volume in June 2011 improved 1.2% year-on-year, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.6% (down 0.7 points year-on-year), with a 2.5% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 3.8% total market share (down 0.6 points year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from January through June 2011 decreased 28.0% year-on-year due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.5% (unchanged year-on-year), with a 3.2% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 4.6% total market share (unchanged year-on-year).
