1. Domestic Production

Mazda's total domestic production volume in April 2011 decreased year-on-year, down 49.7% on April 2010, due to reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production

Posting a year-on-year increase for the 23rd consecutive month, Mazda's overseas production volume in April 2011 improved 7.1% on April 2010, reflecting healthy production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in April 2011 decreased 33.1% compared to April 2010, due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.1% (up 1.2 points year-on-year), with a 4.1% share of the micro-mini segment (up 1.2 points year-on-year) and a 5.3% total market share (up 1.2 points year-on-year).
