1. Domestic Production (1) March 2011

(2) April 2010 through March 2011 Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April 2010 through March 2011 increased 4.7% year-on-year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Posting a year-on-year increase for the 22nd consecutive month, Mazda's overseas production volume in March 2011 improved 14.5% on March 2010, reflecting healthy production of passenger and commercial vehicles.

(2) April 2010 through March 2011 Posting a second consecutive year-on-year increase, Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from April 2010 through March 2011 increased 30.1% year-on-year, due to increased production of passenger and commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
(1) March 2011 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in March 2011 decreased 34.9% compared to March 2010 due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

(2) April 2010 through March 2011 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April 2010 through March 2011 decreased 6.8% year-on-year due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

III. Exports
(1) March 2011 Mazda's export volume in March 2011 decreased 36.0% compared to March 2010 due to reduced shipments of passenger vehicles.
