1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in January 2011 decreased 0.6% year-on-year due to reduced production of commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Posting a year-on-year increase for the twentieth consecutive month, Mazda's overseas production volume in January 2011 improved 28.7% on January 2010, reflecting healthy production of passenger vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in January 2011 decreased 18.6% compared to January 2010, due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Posting a year-on-year increase for the fourth consecutive month, Mazda's export volume in January 2011 increased 11.0% year-on-year, reflecting healthy shipments to North America and Europe.
