Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for October 2010 are summarized below.

1. Domestic Production
Mazda's total domestic production volume in October 2010 decreased year-on-year, down 0.4% compared to October 2009, due to decreased production of commercial vehicles.

Mazda2 (Demio):	13,562 units	(up 4.0% year-on-year)
CX-7:	10,542 units	(up 91.9% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production
Posting a year-on-year increase for the seventeenth consecutive month, Mazda's overseas production volume in October 2010 improved 18.6% on October 2009, reflecting healthy production of passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in October 2010 decreased year-on-year, down 47.9% compared to October 2009, due to reduced sales of passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 3.2% (down 1.7 points year-on-year), with a 2.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.5 points year-on-year) and a 2.8% total market share (down 1.4 points year-on-year).
