Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective August 1, 2009.

1. Organizational Changes
(1) Changes in the areas of CSR and the environment

Goals

-	To enhance strategic, coordinated and inter-departmental planning functions related to CSR and environmental initiatives from a companywide, Group and global standpoint.
-	To consolidate the control of information related to CSR and the environment, and ensure effective communication both internally and externally.

Details of the organizational changes

-	The CSR & Environment Dept. has been newly established as an independent department.

(2) Changes in the area of corporate services

Goal

-	To maintain and enhance ongoing efforts to ensure compliance and improve risk management.

Details of the organizational changes

-	The CSR Promotion Dept. has been reorganized and renamed the Compliance Administration Dept.
-	Some functions of the CSR Promotion Dept. have been transferred to the General Affairs Dept.
