Organizational and Personnel Changes

Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective April 1, 2009.

1. Organizational Changes
(1) Changes in the area of Domestic Business

Goals

-	Streamline the divisional structure to speed up the decision making process and enhance organizational efficiency.
-	To enhance communication between each regional sales department and the sales companies in their area, and reinforce sales, service, customer satisfaction and management support for dealerships.

Details of the organizational changes

-	The Domestic Business Development Dept., Sales Development Dept., Regional Sales Department No. 1, Regional Sales Department No. 2, and Regional Sales Department No. 3 have been reorganized.
-	The New Vehicle Planning Dept., Non-New-Vehicle-Profit Planning Dept., and Dealer Back-Office Support Dept. have been newly established.
-	In line with the above changes, the Domestic Administration Dept., CS Promotion Dept., Brand Promotion Dept., Product Brand Marketing Dept., Market Representation Dept., Sales Network Promotion Dept., Used Car Dept., Sales Operation Dept., and Autozam Dept. have been eliminated.

(2) Changes in the area of Corporate Services

Goals

-	Reorganize the divisional structure to enhance business efficiency and accelerate business operations.

Details of the organizational changes

-	The Osaka Branch has been reorganized as the Osaka General Affairs Group.
-	In line with the above change, the functions of the Osaka Branch have been transferred to the General Affairs Dept.
