HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation and Mazda (China) Motor Co., Ltd. jointly announced that Mazda and one of its joint venture companies in China will donate 2.5 million RMB through organizations such as the Red Cross Society of China for rescue and recovery efforts in Sichuan Province, which was hit by a devastating earthquake on May 12.

The donation includes 1 million RMB contributed by Mazda Motor Corporation and Mazda (China) Motor Co., Ltd., 1.5 million RMB from joint venture affiliate Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd.
