III. Exports
Exports have exceeded the figures for the same month of the previous year for 18 consecutive months since August 2005, with an increase of 32.1% year-on-year. The gains were led by the added production of CX-7 and CX-9 models and increased production of the Mazda3. Exports were at their highest level in 14 years in January 2007. On a market basis, export of CX-7 and CX-9 models bound for North America, and Mazda3 and Mazda5s for Europe, were particularly healthy.
