Mazda’s MX-Crossport Concept to Debut at 2005 North American International Auto Show- Mazda MX-Crossport hints at possible future Mazda design direction - |
At the 2005 North America International Auto Show in Detroit, the Mazda MX-Crossport design concept will be shown to the public for the first. Also furnishing the Mazda booth will be the Mazda5 and the Mazdaspeed6 to be newly introduced to the North American market.
MX-Crossport Concept Designed with the North American market and style of driving in mind, the design concept called the “Advanced Frontier” merges the speedy and athletic image of Mazda’s best sports car with the dynamism, practical utility and comfort of ample space to seat four adults. The MX-Crossport transcends the existing categories of SUV and crossovers, and steps into the realm of sports car where the driver can experience the world of sports cars every time they get behind the wheel. The result is a vehicle that takes Mazda and its Zoom-Zoom image into a segment it has never before ventured. Mazda is scheduled to hold the press conference on Monday, January 10, 2005 from 4:25pm. |
