Mazda Launches Special Edition Mazda Demio SPORT-S

-Popular items now standard; exclusive body color--Titanium Grey Metallic II-

Mazda Motor Corporation today announces the launch of the new special edition “SPORT-S” version of the Mazda Demio. Based on its “SPORT” model, the new sportier Mazda Demio “SPORT-S” goes on sale today at Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealerships throughout Japan.

Building on the established performance and level of functional equipment of the “SPORT” model, Mazda Demio “SPORT-S” provides customers many with popular items as standard equipment, including the stylish retractable-type key and the exclusive Titanium Grey Metallic II body color.

To enhance the level of audio equipment, an audio remote control switch fitted on a steering wheel and a six-speaker sound system, both originally available as a manufacturer option, are now standard equipment on this special edition. In addition, a flexible choice of music systems, such as a CD kit compatible with MP3 or an MD kit compatible with MDLP, is available as a dealer option, which allows customers to create their own audio systems with a variety of combinations.

With a genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob fitted as standard, the “SPORT-S” further increases the sporty appeal delivered by the “SPORT” model. On top of these exciting items, Mazdaspeed accessories can be installed to further enhance the vehicle’s sporty appearance.

The price of the Mazda Demio “SPORT-S” ranges from 1,522,500 yen to 1,611,750 yen, including the sales tax.

Sales volume for this model is limited to 1,400 units.
