Mazda Launches ‘Stardust Pink,’ Special Edition Mazda Demio- Features exclusive body color and equipment targeting active women - |
Mazda Motor Corporation released the “Stardust Pink” special-edition model based on the latest Mazda Demio, a vehicle that meets Japan’s 2004 Green Tax standard. The new model is the second-generation Stardust Pink model -- the original was launched in Japan in July 2003 -- and goes on sale today at Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealers throughout Japan.
Mazda’s Stardust Pink Demio was designed with input from Misaki Ito, the young actress featured in the popular Mazda Demio television commercials. The vehicle combines an exclusive Cosmic Rose Metallic exterior with the beige/pink interior of the existing ‘Cozy’ model and is outfitted with exclusive equipment that targets active and fashionable women. The vehicle’s expanded and refined powertrain lineup includes a choice of the 1.3L FWD model, 1.5L FWD model and the 1.3L e-4WD model; the previous model was offered only with the 1.3L FWD model.
