The Titan series boasts the eco-friendly diesel engine lineup, which all comply with Japan’s new short-term diesel emissions regulations: the 4.8-liter diesel engine model is certified as a “ultra-low (85% reduced) PM*1 emissions diesel engine model,” partially thanks to the “DPD (Diesel Particulate Defuser)” filtering system, while the 4.8-liter diesel turbo engine model is certified as a “ultra-low (75% reduced) PM emissions diesel engine model.”

The features include the “Smoother E” manual transmission system, which enables the driver to maneuver the vehicle without using a clutch pedal. The Smoother E transmission allows the holders of the AT-exclusive driver’s license*2 to drive the vehicle.

The monthly sales target of the new Titan series is a lifecycle average of 500 units in Japan.

This Titan series has been provided from Isuzu Motors Limited, based on the basic agreement on OEM supply of the Isuzu Elf truck series to Mazda.
