Mazda Releases Partially Restyled 'Mazda Spiano'
- Two new grades and improved fuel economy -
| Mazda Motor Corporation has revised its 'Mazda Spiano' micro-mini lineup with the addition of two new grades and current model enhancements. The sporty new SS comes equipped with DOHC turbo engine while L grade models have front bench seats. In addition, front wheel drive models have been upgraded to deliver improved fuel economy. With a selection of new body colors, the enhanced lineup goes on sale today at Mazda Autozam dealers across Japan. |

All front wheel drive models (apart from SS and Turbo) are U-LEV rated. Four wheel drive vehicles have E-LEV certification while SS and Turbo grades are rated as G-LEV. |

All front wheel drive models (except SS and Turbo) comply with Japanese 2010 fuel efficiency standards and are eligible for special tax reductions under the Green Tax plan. Vehicles registered before March 31, 2004 qualify for a 9,000 yen reduction in the automobile acquisition tax. |
