Mazda Upgrades 'Familia S-Wagon SPORT20' to Sportier Vehicle

| Mazda Motor Corporation today launches the 'Mazda Familia S-Wagon SPORT20 Special,' a 5 door hatch back featuring enhanced sporty driving performance and styling, which goes on sale at Mazda, Mazda Anfini, and Mazda Autozam dealerships throughout Japan from today. |
| Built on the Mazda Familia S-Wagon SPORT20 that enjoys great popularity for its sporty design and superb driving performance, the SPORT20 Special features a further enhanced sporty image. |
| The new model has adopted blackout headlamp
bezels, upper front grille color-keyed with the body color, and
newly designed 16-inch aluminum wheels. What's more, a popular white
pearl body color is now available, while high quality seats and
trims based in black are provided. The FWD model is equipped with
special sports tuned suspension, which enhances driving stability
and ride comfort in daily use, and provides a sense of security,
even on rough roads. The special suspension employs special shock
absorbers with finely tuned stabilizers and bushes. The SPORT20
Special comes with improved equipment. The CD kit is standard and
the DSC,*1 which assures stable
driving performance, even for unstable road conditions and slippery
roads, is now offered as a manufacturer's option to meet customer
demand. Featuring these valuable improvements, the price of a new
model is an amazing 33,000 yen lower than the previous model, offering
an increased value. |
