Mazda Motor Corporation announces the launch of a limited edition version of the Roadster convertible sports car, with an enhanced interior and exterior design. The 'MV Limited' goes on sale today at Mazda Anfini and selected Mazda dealerships throughout Japan.

Mazda developed Roadster with the concept of "feeling of oneness between car and driver." With its excellent maneuverability and styling, Roadster reflects Mazda's brand personality. Total production volume has reached more than 610,000 units^* over the 12 years since its introduction in 1989, and it is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's top-selling light weight open two-seater sports car model.

'MV Limited,' based on the 1600 SP, is for customers who seek an ever higher level of style, interior and exterior feel. It combines the custom exterior color, Titanium Gray Metallic, and a brownish-red interior to create a distinctive and classy look. The authentic leather seat upholstery, aluminum colored center panel, and aluminum pedals (5MT model only) further enhance the quality.

With all these additional features, the 'MV Limited' is attractively priced, with only a slight increase from the base model. Sales volume of the 'MV Limited' is limited to 300 units.
