Mazda Motor Corporation has modified the micro-mini vehicles "AZ-Wagon" and
"Laputa," with enhancements to both the interior and exterior. A special edition
"SX-Special" model has also been introduced to the Carol lineup, offering high-class
features at an affordable price. The three models go on sale today at Autozam
dealerships throughout Japan.
Micro-mini vehicles are not used only as a daily means of transport, but also
for other purposes, including leisure. Through these modifications and the addition
of the special edition, Mazda aims to fulfill the needs of micro-mini vehicle
customers.
Major modifications to the three models are as follows:

Sports model "RR-Z," with discharged headlamps and authentic leather steering
wheel, has been added to "AZ-Wagon," with an enhanced sporty feel to other versions.
The newly developed DOHC "M Turbo" engine, has also been adopted to the AZ-Wagon
lineup. The engine focuses on power output at a mid/low speed, which is often
used in everyday driving. |

Enhanced features to "Laputa" include an audio system upgrade and new body
color. As with the AZ-Wagon, a new version, powered by the newly developed DOHC
"M Turbo" engine, has also been adopted. |

entry system, power windows, and a CD player with AM/FM tuner. |
The three models, available at an affordable price, offer enhanced driving pleasure
