Mazda Motor Corporation announces the release of the refreshed model change
Bongo Friendee, employing the "auto free top" with new design and functions, and
offering a stylish and sporty exterior and interior. It goes on sale from September
25 at Mazda and Mazda Anfini throughout Japan.
With its box-type body configuration, the vehicle provides plenty of interior
room and realizes the "basis for leisure activities with family and friends" concept.
The "auto free top," which creates a loft area over the roof, expresses and provides
space to sleep and play inside the car. Bongo Friendee embodies Mazda's brand
personality, in particular being "insightful," and is highly acclaimed by many
customers.
Characteristics of this vehicle are as follows:
