Mazda Launches Limited Series '@NAVI SPORTS'

- Three sport models feature Telematics-compatible DVD navigation system and aerodynamic parts at attractive prices Now i-mode-designated Mazda Telematics website is available -

Mazda Motor Corporation has created a special @NAVI SPORTS limited edition series with three popular models: the MPV, the Capella Wagon and the Familia S-Wagon. Each of the models comes equipped with a DVD car navigation system* compatible with the Mazda Telematics driving information service and features aerodynamic parts. All three models in the @NAVI SPORTS series go on sale today at car dealerships throughout Japan.

The @NAVI SPORTS series, the fourth offering of the "MM Project,**" features new products that embody Mazda's brand personality of stylish, insightful and spirited more clearly than ever before and reflect customer suggestions.

The three new @NAVI SPORTS series models come with the advanced DVD car navigation system as standard equipment. They feature a high-grade platinum silver metallic color theme, special aero parts on the outside and carbon panels on the inside, giving the cars a sporty look. With these extra features, Mazda offers these models at an affordable price, enabling customers to save 231,000-400,000 yen.

The company offers limited number of @NAVI SPORTS models: 9,500 units for the MPV, 1,650 units for the Capella Wagon and 1,800 units for the Familia S-Wagon.

MPV @NAVI SPORTS

The DVD car navigation system of the @NAVI SPORTS models facilitates a safe and comfortable trip. With the free Mazda Telematics membership and the optional adapter, users can access the Mazda Telematics Center to pull down information on motels, restaurants, gas stations, parking facilities and other sites and attractions through the Internet. This navigation system also can link to the i-mode service,*** provided by NTT DoCoMo Inc, which enables users to access a variety of i-mode services.

Additionally, Mazda opens up the new i-mode-designated Mazda Telematics website today. Designed exclusively for i-mode users, this website offers services, such as Mazda Telematics Town Information, weather forecasts and entertaining driving routes.

*	Optional adapter unit (including hands-free device) and a mobile phone are required to connect to the Mazda Telematics Center using a compatible car navigation system. Cdma-One and PHS mobile phones are not compatible. Customers are responsible for the connection charges for the phone company and the Internet provider.
**	"MM project" stands for "MORE MAZDA." It also connotes a close connection between "Mazda" and "Market."
***	"i-mode" is a registered trademark of NTT DoCoMo, Inc. This product has no relation to NTT DoCoMo, Inc. To use the "i-mode" service, users need to enroll in the "Packet-data transmission," "i-mode" and "800MHz mobile phone" services. To use "i-mode" services on Mazda Telematics car navigation, an adapter unit (combined with a hands-free system) and a car navigation-compatible "i-mode" mobile phone are required.
