| Mazda Motor Corporation launches the limited edition "Astral" * series, which comprises three special versions of the popular Premacy and MPV, starting selling today at Mazda's dealerships throughout Japan.
Reflecting requests and ideas from customers, the Astral series contains three different specification models, "Astral," "Astral Elegant" and "Astral Sporty," to fulfill customers' different interests or lifestyles. What makes the Astral series special is that it provides the same price for all three models.
The sales points of the Astral series are:

| (2) | SAME PRICING - The three models feature the same low price, enabling customers to choose their favorite out of one limited series (The Astral Premacy shows a price difference between five-passenger version and seven-passenger version.) |
| (3) | AFFORDABLE PRICE - The Astral series vehicles cost 112,000 to 146,000 yen or 173,000 to 263,000 yen less than standard Premacys or the MPVs with the same equipment. |
The Astral series is the third outcome from Mazda's "MM Project," ** launched in May. The Astral series focuses on the "stylish" aspect of Mazda "stylish," "insightful" and "spirited" brand personality elements.
Mazda produces a limited number of the Astral series units only for the Japanese market:
5,350 units for the Premacy and 4,250 units for the MPV.
